Dr. Ailey Blystone
Dr. Ailey Blystone’s journey to dentistry is as unique as her approach to patient care. Born in the Philippines and raised in Kentucky, Dr. Blystone’s early experiences with dental issues ignited her passion for the field. Her personal struggles with crooked teeth and other dental issues fueled her determination to become a dentist who could make a difference. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition from the University of Kentucky, she pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at one of the top leading dental schools in the country, University of California San Francisco.
At Tooth Café, Dr. Blystone combines her years of clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the impact a healthy smile can have on one’s confidence and quality of life. Her approach to dentistry is comprehensive, focusing not just on treating teeth, but on educating patients and creating a comfortable, anxiety-free environment. When she’s not transforming smiles, Dr. Blystone enjoys traveling the world with her family, practicing yoga and CrossFit, cooking Filipino cuisine, and exploring new restaurants and cafés. Her love for matcha and coffee shops directly influenced the unique, welcoming atmosphere of Tooth Café!

Ghadir is a Junior at the University of Louisville, where she is studying Psychology and Biology on the pre-dental track as she prepares to apply to dental school. Originally from Iraq, she moved to the United States at the age of seven and is now committed to pursuing her passion for dentistry to make a positive impact on her community.
With her background in psychology, Ghadir understands the anxiety that often accompanies dental visits. She enjoys working the front desk at the Tooth Cafe, where she helps create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients. In her free time, you can find her reading a good book or cuddling with her tuxedo Ragamuffin cat, Lilo.

Born in the Philippines, Joy has lived in Louisville, Kentucky for the past year. She started her dental career in Urdaneta Pangasinan Philippines, where she worked as a dental assistant doing front desk tasks and also assisting the Dentist with patients. From there, she became a branch supervisor at Wink Laser Studio Clinic in Manila where she spent seven years in that role. She enjoyed her interactions with customers and the professional life that working in that environment provided her. Joy immigrated to the United States last year and married her husband in November 2024. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family and being outdoors and also cooking.

Haley is from Louisville and grew up going to traditional schools. Later on she went to WKU for dental hygiene. She has experience working in corporate dental offices and private practice. She enjoys meeting new people and growing relationships with her patients. Haley loves to travel, play pickleball, and spend time with her family and friends.

What to Expect
Your first visit to Tooth Café is designed to be refreshingly different. Start by unwinding in our cozy lounge with a complimentary coffee from our espresso machine. During your exam, Dr. Blystone will take the time to get to know you, understand your dental history, and discuss your dental goals. We’ll perform a comprehensive examination, take necessary X-rays, digitally scan your teeth, and create a personalized treatment plan. It’s all about your comfort and your smile.
What to Bring
For your first visit, please bring your ID, insurance information (if applicable), and a list of any medications you’re taking. Most importantly, bring your questions and concerns – we’re here to address them all!

Enjoy freshly brewed espresso, lattes, and other delicious options from state-of-the-art espresso machine. We even provide tips on how to be a coffee lover while maintaining a healthy smile!
